Gone
is the old Initwist command to switch between Windows 95 operating
system and the Coynet 32 program suite. Now
under superuser it only takes 7 seconds to switch
back and forward between Win 95 and Coynet 32.
Email
When
clicking on a email address when using the Coynet Browser, Coynet
email program immediately opens and allows the user to use and
existing account or create a new one to enable them to respond to
the email request.
Retained
Credits
We
were asked to change the software to enable the credits to be
restored after the mains power had been switched off and on.
Security
Coynet
automatically switches on and off security to the system when using
superuser. There is no need for the user to remember to enable
security after installing the new system files.
Summary
The
new Coynet suite has been modified to be simpler for the Librarian
to administer the system and easy to understand. The new manual
covers all points of the system. |
